My new office includes a play therapy training center that can accommodate a large number of attendees so my first goal for 2015 is to offer a variety of training opportunities to get more therapists trained in play therapy and support and encourage them to work toward earning the RPT credential.
One of the requirements for the RPT credential is a specific number of play therapy supervision hours. I earned my Registered Play Therapist Supervisor Credential (RPT-S) this past November so my number two goal is to offer individual and group play therapy supervision in both face-to-face and distance settings for play therapists who are in need of those supervision hours.
Offering play therapy supervision training for those Registered Play Therapists who want to earn the RPT-S credential is my third goal for 2015.
Blogging regularly is my fourth goal. APT has designated February 1-7, 2015 as National Play Therapy Week and I have plans in the works to feature some of my play therapy colleagues as guest bloggers.
I enjoy connecting with play therapists around the world via social media so my fifth and final goal of 2015 is to reach out through this blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to connect worldwide with even more play therapists.
2015 is looking to be a playful new year. How about you? What are your play therapy goals for 2015?
